Why Do Most of the Scientific Community Reject Intelligent Design?

I have asked myself that question countless times. Why won't scientists grow up and accept that we have the better argument? Why do they have to make up countless excuses for why atheism is science, and Intelligent Design is not? I have found the answer. Whereas some scientists really do think that evolution is a perfect theory and Intelligent Design is garbage, most of them have another secret reason for why they will not accept Intelligent Design. They do not want to accept that there is a God, and that there is a higher law that they must follow. They want to bury Theism in a shower of lies so that they don't have to own up to the fact that they live sinful lives and must one day face God on judgment day. They want to play God. After all, if God doesn't exist, than man is God, and can do whatever feels good.
